LimoStudio Photography Photo Video Studio Umbrella Flash Mou 13 of 13 people found the following review helpfulGreat Studio at a modest price By Timothy Price on January 22, 2013Color: 750W Flash Strobe Lighting Kit Verified Purchase I had bought the 500W (250X x 2) set and was going to get a third flash head by itself; but then the 750W kit came came up in the search and not only was the price right, it had several accessories I was thinking about getting. So far these flashes have been great. They recycle quickly, the exposure is consistent at each different power setting, and they have been reliable. The softboxes are easy to put together and the light stands are easy to expand and collapse. The only issue I have had with the LimoStudio setup is the light stands are very light weight, making them easy to knock over. Comment Was this review helpful to you? I based my decision largely on the lights and the functions, stands and soft boxes are a dime-a-dozen and this set gives me 750W of strobe light. I’ve set everything up and have been shooting for 2 weeks. . I can’t find any issues functionally with this set. The power is more then enough for my 20 foot long studio. I’ve turned the lights all the way up and have blown-out images so there’s plenty of light! The lights run pretty cool as far a heat is concerned. . the reload speed is fast. Love the fact I can turn the when-ready "beep" off. And the slave/master is really responsive and a simple set-to use. These lights are very versatile and there is not one function missing – you can do anything with these lights! Set-up one light as the master with the easy plug-in, clip the server to your hot shoe, flip the other light(s) to "P/Cell" and they’re a slave – very simp

Canon PowerShot G1 X 14.3 MP CMOS Digital Camera : Point And 248 of 253 people found the following review helpfulVery Good Camera with Flaws By Yang Wang on April 14, 2012Package Type: Standard Packaging A few years ago Thom Hogan posted a “Compact Camera Challenge” ([...]) in his excellent blog, in which he lamented the lack of compact cameras with a large sensor. Despite the development of digital photography technology for the past two decades, stated Hogan, “the camera makers simply don’t have any idea of what many of their customers really want.” In Hogan’s view, consumers will be well served if there was a compact camera with a larger sensor that met certain standards he deemed essential for a serious photographer.I stumbled onto Hogan’s challenge as I was looking for the same thing. And since that time I have been waiting and hoping for such a camera. I use a DSLR (Canon EOS 10D and EOS Xti) almost exclusively, but grow tired of lugging the camera and those heavy lenses on each trip as well as the lens changing for those casual outings. The end result is that I now don’t bother to even bring a camera with me on some of my trips. I know there are those mirror-less cameras, but the prospect of buying a whole new set of lenses and change them during shooting had discouraged me from jumping into them. The Canon Powershot G1X is exactly the camera I have been waiting for. It has in fact exceeded all the criteria laid out in Hogan’s challenge. So I immediately bought it, even though the $800 price tag is on the high side. After playing around with it in the past few days I have gained a better picture of what this camera is (and isn’t). I’m still very pleased with it. In the mean time I also feel that depending on what you use your camera for and what your level of enthusiasm is, there might be better alternatives. I’ll try to summarize what I have found below in more details.1. Image Quality (Sensor).Read more › 3 Comments Was this review helpful to you? Yes No Sending feedback… Thank you for your feedback. Aspect Solar EnergyBar 225Wh Power Bank Battery to Power Yo 35 of 36 people found the following review helpfulProvides power as advertised but battery display not reliable. By The Count on January 14, 2014Size: Energybar 250Color: EnergyBar Only Seems like I am the first to review this on the net. Bought it from a ham radio store not Amazon. Got the device half charged and plugged it in for 5 hours until it showed full charge. Then I hooked up a regular 60W bulb to the 110V inverter for a test. Long story short, first day ran it for 1:45 minutes and the next day for 2:15 for a total of 4 hours = 240 Watt Hours. This is close to the 256 Watt Hours the manufacturer claims. The inverter itself probably accounts for the missing power. The battery display however is not reliable. Within minutes of starting the test one bar was gone. After 20 minutes only 2 bars out of 5 were left. Stayed at 2 bars until I ended the test after 105 min. run time. Next day the unit came back on with 3 bars (!). After 45 min. of use down to 2 and 30 min. after that down to 1. I am waiting for a response from AspectSolar about this and will update later. Otherwise I really like this unit. Compact, not light at 8 lbs but not too heavy for what it is. All the ways to charge and get juice out most will ever need.Note that the unit will provide virtually full power until it is exhausted and then just stops. This can be of importance with many applications.UPDATE: Got a response from AspectSolar within hours, liked that. They say the battery display calculations used are ‘funky’ and will be revised in a later update. Has no influence on the actual performance of the unit. My test would confirm this. 1 Comment Was this review helpful to you? Yes No Sending feedback… Thank you for your feedback. If this review is inappropriate, please let us know. Koenig on July 21, 2015Size: Energybar 300Color: EnergyBar Only This unit is simply the highest-quality and best-performing portable battery pack/inverter available. I own an EnergyBar 250, as well as this 350 unit. I bought the two of them to chain together to power my CPAP unit out in the field, and in case of an extended power outag
